The Pain Center
The Pain Center at Cedars-Sinai was established with the mission to improve the quality of the lives of individuals who suffer acute, chronic and cancer pain, as well as those with facial disorders and diseases.
Pain is a condition that affects the daily life and financial security of hundreds of thousands of individuals and their families. It is a complex, challenging problem requiring careful investigation of symptoms and specialized care. For persons suffering from acute, chronic and cancer-related pain, The Pain Center at Cedars-Sinai offers a full range of outpatient evaluation and treatment techniques, as well as inpatient consultation services.
The Pain Center's trained, board-certified healthcare specialists include doctors with specialties or fellowship training in anesthesiology, internal medicine and physical medicine. Team members include providers who treat back, head, neck and facial pain, to name a few, in addition to psychologists, physical therapists, and chiropractors. This multidisciplinary approach translates into individually designed treatment programs that best suit patients' needs.
The Pain Center at Cedars-Sinai primarily works with referring physicians, however, we do accept self-referrals for headache and physical medicine rehabilitation services.
The Pain Center at Cedars-Sinai is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai's Department of Anesthesiology.
